As part of an international project called: we attended an international meeting in Austria, which took place from 25/03/2023 to 28/04/2023 in the beautiful, rural town of Heiligekreuz am Wassen. The aim of the meeting was for experts and project partners to exchange different conceptual and experiential practices and with young participants, through various activities, approach the importance of recycling, both from an ecological point of view, as well as from a psycho-social and therapeutic point of view.

Association Wondernature, as part of the international EU project "Recycle Yourself First," had the honor of hosting partners from Slovenia (SMC Maribor Company) and Austria's Franz Feiner from Haus der Stille. During their four-day visit to Gorski Kotar, several professional workers and young people networked and participated in a series of exciting activities with the Red Cross Delnice Youth Club and young ecologists from Ivan Goran Kovačić Primary School. Together, they cleaned the approach to the protected Park Forest Japlenški Vrh, making their city a nicer place for the locals and visitors alike. The "Recycle Yourself First" project emphasizes the importance of recycling from an ecological standpoint, as well as from a psycho-social and therapeutic perspective for young people.

At the beginning of June, partners from Croatia, Slovenia, and Austria gathered in Delnice for the final conference. We are extremely pleased that the Wondernature Association participated in this project, which opened up new possibilities for us. Wondernature Association was one of the six partners in the Erasmus+ project named "Circular SME Scan in Hospitality". They participated in a partner meeting held in Eger, Hungary on 21-22 January 2024. During the meeting, the project partners presented a report on the activities carried out to investigate the potential of the circular economy in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the catering sector. The partners from Hungary, Spain, Lithuania, Greece, Croatia, and Ireland were assigned categories for carrying out field tests, research, and data processing in the second part of the meeting. Apart from the project tasks and coordinating future activities, the partners also had a chance to explore the host city through a guided tour and enjoy local specialties. Eger is known for its medieval castle, thermal baths, baroque churches and architecture, the northernmost Ottoman minaret, and the wines produced and stored in more than 300 Eger cellars.

The Wondernature Association, in partnership with the Institute for Culture and Tourism from the Slovenian town of Kostel, has submitted a project intending to build mutual trust in the local community of the Kupa Valley. The project proposes the organisation of two cross-border festivals under the common slogan "Kupa Valley reunited". The goal of the project is to provide Croatian and Slovenian local communities with the opportunity to learn about cross-border traditions, culture, customs, and identity at these bilateral festivals.
